Advancement of women in the oil, gas and energy sector has been challenged by the historic male dominancy in the sector. The Government of the Republic of Namibia can, however, be applauded for creating opportunities for change through efforts and commitment towards empowering women and creating a more inclusive workforce in oil, gas and energy. WOGEN recognises the need to foster and contribute to a more supportive and enabling environment for women to flourish in this transforming industry.
